PEOGA - Pan European Online Game Association
Peter C. Krell is the founder of the Pan European Online Game Association (PEOGA). PEOGA has recently been restructured and aims to acheive a variety of new goals.
• PEOGA deals with technological and political questions related to online games, online gaming, net infrastructure, emerging security issues, such as identity theft and other fraud cases, as well as youth protection, and taxation in the European Union among other important issues. • PEOGA additionally represents interests of online game companies in Europe. • PEOGA creates networks with government institutions, NGOs and other national international organizations in the area of online entertainment. • PEOGA´s aim is to stimulate the on going discussions with members of the European Union as well as other European states like Swiss, Turkey and Ukraine for instance. • From 2011 on several publications containing core knowledge about the European Online Game Industry will be distributed through this PEOGA web portal. These reports, Black Books and Books of Knowledge will be made available on a regular basis. • The PEOGA webportal is updated on a regular basis with new content. • Contributors to all the PEOGA publications are international online game experts, net security and net infrastructure experts, as well as social media experts and a number of other experts for instance with a profound background in telecommunication and or banking. • PEOGA´s prime goal remains to stimulate the on-going discussions about a sustainable market place for game type online entertainment in the Pan European Space.
